Jack Marshak character in Friday the 13th series described as a person who used to be a magician. A good former stage magician. He has a deep knowledge and instinct about the occult world. He was also a soldier once, served in World War II. At that time he experienced a prison life when he’s being held in a Nazi camp.

In Friday the 13th series, Jack was Lewis Vendredi’s friend when Lewis was still alive. Jack likes to buy antiques all over the world for Lewis antiques store. After learning that those antiques have been cursed by Lewis and sold them to public, Jack joined Micky and Ryan, the store’s new owners, in running the store and trying to bring all the cursed items back to their hands. Those antiques then locked into the basement vault.

Jack Marshak had a wife once, and had a son as well, named Peter. Peter was clairvoyant, but unfortunately died in a girl’s dream plane. Jack Marshak was also engaged at one time to a scientist. She left him for her work but returned years later. They again planned to marry but very sadly, she was killed.

Jack Marshak is a brave and smart man, who always tries to do the right thing. He also stands by his friends. Besides being a partner and also a father figure to the new antique shop owners, Micki and Ryan, he is also a good friend to the mystic named Rashid. Rashid helps them numerious times in their mission to collect all the cursed items back.
